Wei grew up in Hamilton, the son of an architect. Property wasn’t something he stumbled into — he understood it at a level most agents spend careers trying to reach. When he started the business, that showed in everything. The presentation. The detail. The refusal to let anything leave the door that wasn’t right. He set a bar and he held it there. It’s no coincidence he was named New Zealand’s top agent multiple times over.
I came into the picture sideways. I approached Wei for mentorship and he pulled me in. He had built something precise and exacting — you felt it in everything he touched. The kind of standard that doesn’t happen by accident and can’t be faked. We were different people and we both knew it. But different turned out to be useful, and what started as mentorship became something closer to partnership. Nine years has a way of doing that.
What we built together shaped everything about how this team operates today — the care, the standard, the way we treat people through one of the biggest moments of their lives.
